Jungle Island’s three entertaining shows feature some of the wildest animals from around the globe. From the world’s most lethal bird to some of the most amazing animals you will have to see to believe.

Winged Wonders

Times: (Weekdays-12pm, 2:15pm, & 4:15pm)  (Weekends-12pm, 2:15pm, & 4:55pm)
Location: Parrot Bowl 

Presented in the Pepsi Parrot Bowl, Winged Wonders captivates audiences with some of the most beautiful, playful, and dangerous birds from all over the world. Enjoy some laughs from our feathered chatter boxes, catch the thrill of a huge vulture flying inches above your head, and be amazed as a six-foot tall Cassowary swallows an apple—whole. Before the show, be sure to lookout for Pinky, the iconic cockatoo who has been entertaining audiences for decades by riding his high-wire bicycle.

Tale of the Tiger

Times: (Weekdays-12:45pm & 3:25pm) (Weekends-12:45pm, 3:25pm, & 5:30pm)
Location: Jungle Theater

Tale of the Tiger is an upclose, uncaged, unbelievable interaction with the worlds rarest big cats & their human companions. This show features many rare and unique varieties of big cats, including four fantastic colors of tigers. Throughout the year, a rotating cast of big cats make appearances in the Jungle Theater from tigers to Black Panthers, Lynx to Spotted Leopards, Cougars to Ligers. And of course, there is always an assortment of cuddly cubs who are sure to bring a smile to your face. Other animals join the cast of Tale of the Tiger including Orangutans, Chimpanzees, Binturongs, Gibbons, Capuchins, Lemurs and more!

This incredible presentation of big cats is produced by T.I.G.E.R.S., The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species, an international big cat conservation educational organization. After each show, guests can purchase special, upclose photographs with tiger cubs or primates. 

Dr. Wasabi's Wild Adventures

Times: (Weekdays-11am, 1:30pm)  (Weekends-No Show) 
Location: Serpentarium®

Dr. Wasabi’s Wild Adventures in the Serpentarium® takes an audience full of research assistants on a wild safari adventure through the animal kingdom. Guests will meet the wild wonders Dr. Wasabi has found from his world travels – from a baby alpaca to an alligator snapping turtle; baby Hamadryas baboons to African penguins.

Manu Encounter

Times: 11am and 3pm (Weekdays) 11am-5pm (Weekends)
Location: Manu Encounter-Lower level

Fashioned after the clay cliffs in Manu, Peru. This is an interactive experience with Squirrel Monkeys, free-flying macaws and parrots as well as other exotic animals. A brief presentation on the habits and habitats of these animals will be given by one of our Animal Care Trainers who will remain present to answer questions relating to this exhibit. 

Primate Chat

Times: 1:10pm
Location: Primadomes

Come experience the hilarious actions and reactions of Jake and Hanna, our amazing and smart orangutans. Saimang and gibbons swing into action. Upside down, right side up, left, right, top and bottom, they move with amazing agility and surprising speed. Their antics and tactics will delight and astound you. Enjoy a ten-minute presentation about our rambunctious and entertaining primates. A question-and-answer session by one of our Primate experts will follow.

Kangaroo Konnection

Times: 11:30am and 2pm (Weekdays) 11:30am, 2pm, 3:30pm (Weekends)
Location: Kangaroo Paddock (Fee: $5 per person)

Come meet and interact with our cuddly Kangaroos!

Petting Barn

Times: Weekdays 11am to 4:30pm ; Weekends: 11am to 5:30pm
Location: Petting Barn by Children's Playground

Come pet and feed our goats, donkeys and cows. Makes for a wonderful memory and some wonderful pictures! But watch out for Otis the Llama, a crowd favority, as he'll use his long neck to try to steal your food from the feed machines!  

La Playa (Open Seasonally)

Jungle Island's own private beach where you can relax under the sun, have a swim or enjoy a frozen cocktail, all while the kids romp on an inflatable water slide or bounce house. Miami's only private beach in a public facility, La Playa boasts magnificent views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. Stop by to stay cool and relaxed in between one of Jungle Island's fun animal shows. La Playa is currently closed.

Everglades Habitat & Walk

Make your way across a true replica of the Florida Everglades, complete with beautiful flora and fauna from the region. 

Feed our birds around the park

Many of our magnificent birds enjoy being fed by you, our guests. You’ll find them along our jungle paths with food dispensers at each location.

Interact with Trainers and Animals

As you wonder through the park, you’ll encounter our trainers who host an assortment of animals. Touch, ask questions, and make friends.

Penguin Exhibit

Times: See penguins after each Dr. Wasabi Wild Adventure Show
Location: Serpentarium

Our South African penguins are so adorable. Come see our fluffy little friends swim and waddle around their penguin pool.

Plant Nursery

A greenhouse brimming with natural plants and trees. Walk through the beauty and wonder of it all.

Playground

It’s your time to monkey around. Frolic on slides and crawl tubes.

Tortoise Exhibit

You’ll be astonished at the size of these giant tortoises. Some males grow to 500 pounds and can live for 150 years.
