As a multi-faceted theme park and entertainment venue, Jungle Island offers an extraordinary array of positions and career opportunities. In addition to the traditional administrative functions such as accounting, human resources, facilities maintenance, housekeeping, security, marketing and public relations, we also employ animal keepers and veterinary technicians, as well as positions in horticulture, landscaping and field maintenance. Positions within food and beverage range from our set-up, serving and cooking staffs to our chefs, banquet captains, managers, and directors.

Café Supervisor
The Café Supervisors basic function is to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the supervision of all food areas, personnel, and cleanliness of the premises.  Responsibilities include relieving the manager and cook on their days off and assume their responsibilities. To ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food to our patrons meets our standards to ensure customer satisfaction with their dining experience.
 
 
Skills/Requirements
The Café Supervisor must have good communication skills, and be able to quickly respond and be a strong decision-maker for both the safety of the staff and the public. The Café Supervisor will serve Jungle Island in any capacity required to support the highest guest standards. The Café Supervisor must be able to stand for long hours throughout the day.
 
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).  
Experience: Previous hands-on cafeteria experience highly recommended.  Ability to work with large groups of people and the general public. Observant, highly flexible individual with a positive and creative outlook is preferred for this continually evolving position. 
 
Must be bilingual English/ Spanish.
 
Compensation : Depending on experience

Jungle Island is open 365 days a year. Special shows and events at this popular Miami attraction may extend Jungle Island’s hours. Upon arrival, ask the Ticket Booth or Guest Relations for any special event or show information. Jungle Island hours are subject to change without notice. Severe inclement weather may affect Jungle Island’s hours.
