We are open seven days a week from 9:30 AM to 5 PM (last admission to the park 4:30 PM)

Building upon its 75-year history, today’s Jungle Island is a contemporary, zoological theme park. We allow our guest to become completely immersed in personal experiences with extraordinary animals from around the globe. From the energetic staff to the mouth-watering dishes offered inside, there’s enough for the entire family to enjoy!

Please bring/wear closed shoes to enjoy the Playground and Treewalk Village.

Absolutely! We have our iconic parrots on their perches throughout the park available for photo opportunities, however they cannot be picked up or held.

We usually suggest 1 to 1½ hours, which allows you to enjoy the park.

Our garden admission ticket includes all our animals on exhibit, everglades habitat, shows and the playground.

Yes, we have different snacks and drinks located in the park.

No outside food or drinks is permitted.

Yes, Jungle Island is wheelchair accessible, however our animal encounters are not accessible to wheelchairs.

Wheelchairs are available on a first come first serve basis.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the park.

Yes, our covered garage is a flat rate of $15 for the day.

We no longer have any big cats at Jungle Island.

Rainy days and storms are inevitable in Miami, so Jungle Island is open rain or shine! Some pathways are under cover but much of the park is open to the elements. To keep Jungle Island’s guests, staff, and animals safe during storms we abide by the following protocols.

When lightning occurs within 10 miles of Jungle Island, animal encounters and tree walk village will be temporarily closed to the public. Jungle Island officials will wait to reopen these experiences until 15-30 minutes after the last lightning strike. All guests are then encouraged to stay under cover and out of the storm. This is a great time to get a bite to eat or browse our gift shop!

Guests who have purchased animal encounters will have the opportunity to reschedule or join a tour later in the day if space is available.

Jungle Island animals may also be taken to behind the scenes housing during the inclement weather. Not to worry though! These animals will come back out once it is safe to do so.

These policies and procedures are in place to keep our adventurers safe and we thank you in advance for your understanding.

We love animals, however only "TRAINED SERVICE DOGS" will be permitted to enter the park. (dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities)

Touching and feeding animals at Jungle Island is strictly prohibited unless the guest is participating in one of our many guided animal encounters.

Jungle Island is cashless, we accept credit cards, debit cards, as well as Applepay & Googlepay.

Weapons are not allowed in Jungle Island.
