During your visit to Luminosa you will have multiple food options. Pick from one of the many park food truck concepts offering European, American and Asian flavor’s. there are also multiple bars offering refreshments and craft cocktails around the park.

Directions & Parking

Jungle Island’s parking garage is our primary parking location and fits 600 cars. Onsite and valet parking is available.

Additional parking is available at the Children’s museum or at designated sites on Watson Island.

We recommend to use UBER, LYFT or a Taxi when coming from Downtown or the Beach!

From I-95
Take I-395 East (MacArthur Causeway) exit 2D. Cross over the bridge and make your first right after the bridge onto Parrot Jungle Trail. Follow the road around and under the bridge to the parking garage on the left-hand side.
From the East
Take I-395 West (MacArthur Causeway), and make the first right turn after Palm Island, next to the Miami Yacht Club. Make the first left turn onto Parrot Jungle Trail and the parking garage will be on the right-hand side.
Public Transportation
Visit Miami-Dade transit at www.miamidade.gov/transit or call 305-770-3131 for detailed route information. Routes C, M, S, and 120 all provide bus service to Jungle Island.

The following are not allowed to be brought into Jungle Island / Luminosa:
  • Wagons
  • Skateboards
  • Scooters
  • Drones
  • Remote control toys
  • Inline skates
  • Shoes with built-in wheels
  • Strollers larger than 31” (79 cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long
  • Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24″ (61 cm) long x 15″ (38 cm) wide x 18″ (46 cm) high. Coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations.
  • Any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV, wheelchair or stroller
  • Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels and devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered or unoccupied. Training wheels or similar modifications are not permitted.
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Weapons of any kind or object that appear to be weapons (toy guns, toy blasters, squirt guns, etc.)
  • Folding chairs
  • Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
  • Pets (unless they are service animals, defined as any dog or miniature horse trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability)
  • Balloons and straws are not permitted in Jungle Island for the safety of the animals
  • Tripod stands or monopod stands that cannot fit inside a standard backpack
  • Wrapped gifts (all gifts must be able to be unwrapped for inspection)
  • Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices)
There are ticket stations available onsite however we advise all guests to pre-purchase tickets via jungleisland.com

All non-professional photography is allowed.

Commercial or professional photography must be arranged in advance via marketing@jungleisland.com

Multiple Foodtrucks and bars are located around Jungle Island to provide food and drinks. It is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks.

Jungle Island is ADA compliant.
In case of emergency you can contact any staff member with a Luminosa shirt or name badge.

Yes Luminosa is open every day from October 05, 2019 until February 02, 2020

Luminosa is open rain or shine. Only a NOAA weather alert or tropical storm might cause the park to close for safety reasons.
