Looking for something exciting to do over Memorial Day weekend? Head to Jungle Island for a totally Wet, Wacky and Wild adventure. To commemorate the holiday, South Florida’s favorite landmark attraction invites all veterans, active military, police, fire and EMT personnel to enjoy FREE park admission from May 23-25. Accompanying family members (up to four people) reap the rewards with a 50% discount, too.
“Jungle Island offers military discounts throughout the year, but Memorial Day weekend is when we especially pay homage to our fallen heroes and also celebrate those who work hard to protect our country and community,” said Christopher Gould, Managing Director of Jungle Island. “This weekend promises to be special for all.”
Jungle Island recently opened its much-anticipated beach oasis and Rainforest Riptide, an unfathomable fun floating obstacle course and water park at Parrot Cove. After a salt-water plunge, have fun with the energetic and wacky hosts of three marvelous animal shows including the popular Winged Wonders, Wild Encounters and Wild Adventures. Then explore the park and its numerous wildlife from twin orangutans, Australian red kangaroos, Aldabra turtles to big cats, reptiles, colorful parrots, and much more.
To take advantage of Jungle Island’s Memorial Day weekend offer, a valid military or employee I.D. must be presented at time of ticket purchase. Regular park admission is $34.95 per adult, plus tax and $26.95 per child (ages 3-10), plus tax. The Rainforest Riptide is additional. Park hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rainforest Riptide opens at 11 a.m. Jungle Island is located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail in Miami.
